In this course, students will learn various approaches to dramatic storytelling ranging from narrative play writing, devising, and improvisational techniques to create story. We will explore what it means to dramatically tell a story and the different approaches taken in the 21st century to adapt to a constantly changing art form. We will explore development of character, plot, and action. Using various techniques and approaches to dramatic writing, students will have created a 10-min play or 10-performance upon the completion of this course.
