GEOL 231: Climate Change Mechanics

Students will learn the fundamentals of processes in the land, atmosphere, oceans, and cryosphere: the components making up the global climate. This framework will provide the basis for an investigation of what happens when one of these components is perturbed, including theoretical repercussions and actual measured data from the past and present on both a global and regional scale.
