An introduction to the fundamentals of biological organization and processes with an emphasis on diversity of organisms, the variety of ways they have adapted to meet the requirements for living, and how they interact with their environment and other organisms. This is the first semester introductory biology course for biology majors. Concurrent enrollment in CHEM 105 is recommended.
