An in-depth study of mold-making and firing theory for kiln- and hot-cast glass sculpture. Processes include traditional and new technologies: alginate and rubber molds for lost-wax kiln casting, and sand, ZirCar, and CNC milled graphite molds for casting molten glass from the furnace. Skills will be applied in pursuit of concept-driven personal expression.
